Our mission is to share the legacy of the late Slovenian artist, Ciril Cesar, by offering his timeless creations to art enthusiasts and businesses seeking extraordinary pieces to adorn their spaces.
History
The story of Ars Cesar begins with the remarkable journey of Ciril Cesar, who embarked on a new chapter of creativity when he brought his long history of sculpting to a new medium. His passion for art and glass led to the birth of the patented glass sculpture designs. As a fourth generation legacy, Ars Cesar is proud to honour Ciril Cesar's dedication and artistry.
Ciril's glass sculptures, which he only started to create after retirement, are representative of consructivism. From the world of screams and confrontations with death, we are entering into the foreboding of the world in which these sufferings are supposedly transcended.
Ciril himself classified these sculptures in his characteristic desire for systematisation as works of sacred symbolism, architectural symbolism, musical symbolism, natural symbolism, mathematical symbolism, industrial symbolism, emotional symbolism and developmental symbolism.
